Airways 747-100 Named "747 Braniff Place," she would faithfully serve Braniff for 11 years.
In fact, this aircraft made the very last Braniff I flight when it was returning from Honolulu, Hawaii. It arrived at D/FW May 13, 1982.
Dallas based Neiman-Marcus flew on "747 Braniff Place" to Britain for a Fur Photo Shoot. In Europe they flew on SAS (Scandanavian Airlines) and sailed on Royal Viking Lines in The Baltic.
The brochure was called "A Saga: The Furs of Neiman-Marcus"
