A Colourful Plane

Braniff International Airways 747-100
Named "747 Braniff Place," she would faithfully serve Braniff for 11 years.
In fact, this aircraft made the very last Braniff I flight
when it was returning from Honolulu, Hawaii. It arrived at D/FW May 13, 1982.

Dallas based Neiman-Marcus flew on "747 Braniff Place" to Britain for a Fur Photo Shoot. In Europe they flew on SAS (Scandanavian Airlines) and sailed on Royal Viking Lines in The Baltic.

The brochure was called "A Saga: The Furs of Neiman-Marcus"
